The H.I.V.E. heroes find themselves facing an unimaginably dangerous weapon as a final battle with Overlord looms near. Overlord, who has been reborn, has developed the chilling ability to move from body to body, erasing the host's personality and ultimately killing them. This is bad news for the Higher Institute of Villainous Education (H.I.V.E.), as Overlord must find Otto, the only host designed to truly contain him, and for that, he needs to know the location of H.I.V.E. Additionally, Overlord plans to take control of a secret U.S. Army facility that is home to the Autonomous Weapon Program, a computer-controlled system uniquely vulnerable to his control.

Faced with these threats, Nero is forced to activate Zero Hour, a plan designed to deal with any member of G.L.O.V.E. (the Global League of Villainous Enterprises) who is on the brink of true global domination. Nero also knows that Otto must not be allowed to fall into Overlord's hands, and a desperate race across the globe begins.

As Overlord's reincarnation and his newfound abilities pose a grave danger to the H.I.V.E. heroes, they must devise a plan to stop him from achieving his sinister goals. The ability to move from body to body, erasing the host's personality, makes Overlord an even more formidable adversary. With Overlord's plans to take control of the Autonomous Weapon Program, the stakes are higher than ever, as he could potentially wield immense power through this computer-controlled system.

In response to these threats, Nero, the head of H.I.V.E., is compelled to activate Zero Hour, a contingency plan designed to thwart the ambitions of any G.L.O.V.E. member who is on the verge of global domination. The H.I.V.E. team must utilize all their skills, resources, and ingenuity to confront the resurrected Overlord and prevent him from achieving his ultimate goals.
